So today i see if its worth stripping insulated copper cable. If you have the time to do it i think its worth doing. My local yards prices were at
$0.85 a pound Unstripped.
$2.30 a pound Stripped wire.

  1. Hey guys if your interested in 5% off a Devil-Forge Furnace email me for your unique code on bigstackddddd@mail.com👌🏻😁

  2. I thought you were going to melt some insulation and see what it does. If stripped wire is worth 3x unstripped, are ingots worth more than stripped wire?

  3. $35 copper ingot, used $20 worth of propane, $5 worth of cleaning supplies, $200 wire stripper…obviously the guy has no future in accounting.

  5. Simple answer that all comes down to math…. what pays you more…. nothing else is relative. and I just seen you buy a stripper machine LOL you just wasted more money next time just go look for a old projects screen TV being thrown out and take the lens off the front… Let the sun do your work for FREE. and FTLOG do not melt copper that green is airborne copper oxide facepalms

  6. Big, single core stuff is worth stripping. Anything else, no – better using the time you'd spend to strip to go out looking for more cable to scavenge.

  7. Hi BigstackD. Like your supercool videos! I work, in a place, where we buy, and sell scrap steel, and metals. Your videos are very inspiring! so, i am thinking about, doing the same, as you. My question is.. is it worth it, thinking about the amount of gas you use, etc.. But then again, some of the "big brains" who want`s to control all of us, by taking away cash, so we can only pay by creditcards, so big brother have control, over our transactions.. I think your way of stacking, is a good alternative, to cash, when the systems take too much control over our lives!

  8. If you're just looking for scrap value the bare wire actually has a higher value than melted into ingots, at least where I'm from.

  9. Haha, Am I the only Aussie guy waiting for some kind of Swift and Shift couriers reference at the beginning there…

  10. Is that 457 visa thing still going? Maybe import some Indian children those little buggers can strip wire like nothing mate

  11. Bro i enjoy watching your melting videos, but one thing that would make it so much better in my opinion, is if you could have a machine that can recycle other scraps like rubber or plastics into pellets and show it to us.
